GO AGGIES!

Ster and his family stayed with us last night. A visit to Logan would not be worthwhile if you didn't see the Aggies play a great game of Basketball. It was neck-and-neck for a while, but we pulled through and ended up winning.

Simi and Sedar were super excited to get their picture with Big Blue. They enjoyed the times when he was out on the court dancing.
I tried to get a picture picking up the blue - since that's our school colors (I say that as if we are still at Utah State... which we're not). Sedar was cheering for the Weber Wildcats because they had purple uniforms and that is her favorite color. How cute those kids are!

And here's us... in case you forgot what we looked like.

Thanksgiving #2

I know it's hard to believe, but I've already completed Thanksgiving #2. It's been quite a weekend of great memories and great food. Luke's brother Sterling is in town with his family.

We made this delicious feast and then sent a picture to Jake on his mission in the Phillipines so that he knew how much fun and good food we were having without him.
I was in charge of the fruit salad. I had never made it before and was a little nervous, but it turned out great. And it even looks pretty.

Fun with the Kids

As part of the Pre-Thanksgiving weekend, we had lots of fun activities going on. Simi and Sedar made little desserts out of the extra pie crust.
They turned out delicious and I ate most of them, don't worry.

I usually end up hanging out with the kids at the family parties. This is Caleb, Simi and Bayli

My bubbles!

The other night was enjoying a delicious drink of water with my meal. As I was getting to the last of it, I figured I would see how interested the cats would be in bubbles. I started blowing bubbles in my cup and they were immediatly enthralled.
Please note that while you may think you are looking at the same picture over and over again, Monster's head is actually getting closer to the cup opening.

It's amazing what little animals can get themselves into. More and more I'm understanding the meaning behind the phrase "curiousity killed the cat"
Her ears have officially disappeared. Getting out was an event in itself. Her head got stuck and she freaked out, resulting in water in her face and all over the coffee table. Luke and I had a good laugh over this one.

Random Photos

I've been slacking off on the blog updates. I know you all were enjoying my awesome breakdance skill video, but it's time to move on. Here's a few updates for you.

I was running an errand for work one day and drove by this tree. I end up turing around and driving back to get a picture of it. It was in front of an office building and I felt a little silly for standing there taking a picture, so I was a little rushed, otherwise I would've been a little more creative.
Luke and I played the most boring game of Monopoly at his uncles house. The only real entertainment I could find was playing with the color features on my camera. Here's the GREEN color accent. How it picked up blue, I have no idea. Here's RED

I drove to work one day and the sky was so so dark. The light was coming through the bottom of the clouds, it was gorgeous.
Pictures just don't do nature justice, but it gets close.
I've been having way too much fun with the time lapse feature on my camera. Here's a video for your viewing pleasure.

Princess and the Pea

We have finally upgraded from a hand-me-down bed from my grandparents. While it was a nice gift at the time, I didn't realize how sad of a bed it really was. Especially compared to ...
This! It's actually not sunken in the middle! It's amazing. Not to mention the comfort level has definitely improved. It is so much higher off the ground. If I sit on the edge of the bed, my feet don't touch the ground. It makes me feel even shorter than I am.

As I was putting sheets on the bed, my little Monster (black cat) crawled under the covers and got tucked in.
I don't think anyone would notice, do you?

Twins

I know my cats look nothing alike, but sometimes I find them sitting the exact same way.
I have to be super quick and snap a picture before they move. I think it's so cute.
