So I decided to add some fun colors to our bleak home. I figured cacti would be a good option since I wouldn't have to water them very often. That gives them a better chance of survival.
Can you see the little black menace there in the background? I woke up in the morning to find....

I got this one because it's bubbly and looks like grapes. So far, the cats don't like it.
And this one should be free and clear from the cats since the pokey's probably don't feel very good going down.
So we'll see if I can keep these little guys alive.

Your new "pets" are beautiful! I have to admit that I don't have any live plants in our house. I'd kill them. I barely remember to feed our dog! : )

Ha! I already knew about Emma's post because she was telling Scott and I about how she was writing once per day and she didn't have anything to write about. So the topic came up about doing a "personal" for me, at first it was a joke, then low and behold it became real....
oh well, I can't complain
I love the the cacti. Derek gave me a cactus before because he thought I would be able to at least keep that alive. I killed it. Oh well. I'm sure you will have better luck than me!
