HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This year I am really enjoying the holiday of Halloween. I don't know why I like it this year more than past years, but I've had a lot of fun.
These are the girls I work with. Michelle dressed up as a Pirate and Michon is the tooth fairy. Obviously you can tell that I am a gangter.
Here's my awesome skills. I know I'm totally a lame white chich, but I had so much fun dressing up and faking that I'm hard core.

4 YEARS

Thursday October 23 was our 4 year anniversary! It's crazy how fast it goes. We didn't celebrate that night because I had my wisdom teeth out and was feeling awfully miserable. Saturday we went to Olive Garden to make up for a crappy anniversary night.
After dinner, we had nother fun filled night of pumpkin carving. Justin again ditched out on the fun and thought it would be more entertaining to play Guitar Hero.

Emma made some delicious donuts
Don't worry, they did taste a good as they looked. YUM!
This was the pumpkin that I carved. I call it "Melting Jack"
Luke thought it would be really scary to carve the word "DREAD" I'm scared... are you?

Here's Scott looking vicious before he carved his pumpkin.
I think he saw Luke's pumpkin and was intimidated, so this is what he came up with:
I'm pretty sure the whole pumpkin carving is becoming one of my favorite holiday activities. And since we've done it twice this year, I think that's enough. You shouldn't see anymore pumpkin pictures.

House Tour

Well, we've been in the house almost 3 months and I'm finally getting pictures up of the inside finished product. Don't worry, I still haven't put anything up on the walls. I'm realizing all the pictures and decorations I had are too small and look funny on my big walls. I'll find something eventually to fill them with.

Front door/Living Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
Guest Room
Office
Guest Bathroom
My mom bought the towels to match the shower curtain

Master Bedroom (I took this when it was hot in the summer and all we used was our sheet at night. We really do have a comfortor)

We each have our own closet - wonderful

This is our awesome soaker tub (P.S. if you're going to custom build your home, get a soaker tub instead of a jetted tub - you'll use it way more)

Master Bath

Half flight of stairs to our Family/Game Room
Family/Game/TV Room
Doors for laundry, game closet and backyard
Laundry - we now have a dryer occupying the right side of the closet
Game Closet
Half flight of stairs to the unfinished basement of the house
Water Heater and door to cold storage - super exciting, I know
Cold storage - which currently holds our "cold things" like snowboards
Unfinished Room #1
Framed closets
Unfinished Room #2
There is also an unfinished bathroom on the same level, but I didn't take pictures of those
Crawl Space
Garage - which hold both of our cars!

And that's all. If you want more detail than that, you'll just have to come visit.

Are you ready for Halloween???

The most crucial part of Halloween is carving the pumpkins. Ok, well the costumes are sort of important too. Last Monday for Family Home Evening, we gathered together and got our pumpkins carved.
Luke and I joined our efforts to come up with this masterpiece. Not only does is say "BOO", but there is a hidden face if you turn it sideways. Sneaky, I know!

Mac did the standard Jack-O-Lantern
Tyler got pretty artistic and did a spider on a web. It was pretty intense. I didn't get the finished product, and unfortunately, it is now collapsing.
Lindsey did a little devil, because she is one. Just kidding. I think it turned out really cute.
And I'm pretty sure Justin just got bored of the whole pumpkin carving thing and gave up. It's a bullseye. Pretty creative, I know.
