To start off, I'm sorry I've been such a slacker with posts lately. I know everyone uses the "I'm busy" excuse, which is true, but I also could have made time. Anyway, I am making up for it now.
Our patriotism started off with a bang this year (I'm talking about croquette, not the fireworks). Logan does fireworks on the 3rd of July from the university stadium. We went over to Luke's uncles house to watch them. It was an OK show... I've seen better. We did have a mean game of croquette, which Luke won. He gets pretty vicious.
The festivities continued on the 4th of July in Bountiful. Davis High School puts on a really good show that is worth the drive. We found a seat as close at you could get to the fireworks; so not only did we hear the loud boom of each one, we actually felt it. My dad did awesome finding those seats. 
I have yet to figure out how to get my videos to load. I had a really cool one with loud bangs and bright flashes. I just hope everyone got to see real fireworks since my pictures just won't cut it. 
I saw this cute family of ducks when I was driving home the other day. They were all just sitting there in the road. I had to stop and take a picture, I could not resist. The mother duck gave one little quack and all the ducklings followed her into the tall grass. It was so cute! 
Luke and I have a new hobby. We are now very avid racquetball players. We love it! We play at least 2 to 3 times a week. We will probably play it until we are old like this guy and kill over and die.
Probably the most excited news happened yesterday. Steve got home from Taiwan. He has been teaching English to cute little Taiwanese kids for the past 6 months. It was so fun to go to the airport to see him. He looks great and he brought home some cool experiences and souvenirs.
As we were waiting for Steve to come down the escalator, we saw this group of people gathering. There were probably about 25 of them and they each had a letter. We didn't ever figure out what it said because it wasn't English. I'm guessing they were from Europe somewhere. So we see this lady come down the escalator and they break into song. That would be so cool to have that kind of welcoming committee. All we had were little signs we made on the car ride over. Next time we'll have to step it up.

Hey! It is so good to hear from you guys again. Lance and I love playing racquetball too. Next time you are back in town we will have to get together and play! That is awesome Steve is home. Sounds like he had a great time.
Is it just me or have you gone blonde? Good move. Last summer I went blonde and had loads of fun. Also, what is up with you always dogging us?

Marybeth is right, I noticed the blonde too, also, she did have loads of fun. I like that you guys are into fourth of july croquette. me and MB used to play when we were little, but she ALWAYS had to win (it was an interesting scoring system). I can only hope Luke is more charitable with you.
