House Tour

Well, we've been in the house almost 3 months and I'm finally getting pictures up of the inside finished product. Don't worry, I still haven't put anything up on the walls. I'm realizing all the pictures and decorations I had are too small and look funny on my big walls. I'll find something eventually to fill them with.

Are you ready for Halloween???

The most crucial part of Halloween is carving the pumpkins. Ok, well the costumes are sort of important too. Last Monday for Family Home Evening, we gathered together and got our pumpkins carved.
Luke and I joined our efforts to come up with this masterpiece. Not only does is say "BOO", but there is a hidden face if you turn it sideways. Sneaky, I know!

Mac did the standard Jack-O-Lantern

Tyler got pretty artistic and did a spider on a web. It was pretty intense. I didn't get the finished product, and unfortunately, it is now collapsing.

Lindsey did a little devil, because she is one. Just kidding. I think it turned out really cute.

And I'm pretty sure Justin just got bored of the whole pumpkin carving thing and gave up. It's a bullseye. Pretty creative, I know.

Camera Fun

Steve showed me some of the settings on my camera that I never use. This picture accents the green in the room - although, it looks like it picked up some browns too.
This is my cute cousin, Michael. He had a cute little monkey outfit on. Adorable!

And when I tried to just green in this picture, it ended up pulling all the blue too.

Fall

For those who live in Northern Utah, this has been the usual scene for the past month or so. I love fall and and all the different colors.
And also for those in Northern Utah, this is what we woke up to on Sunday morning. While I certainly ejoyed the snow fall, I think I wanted to enjoy the cooling weather of Fall for a few more weeks... or months.

Birthday's

So my boss absolutely hates his Birthday. I haven't quite figured out why exactly, but I think it's something along the lines of one more year has passed and he hasn't accomplished as much as he would have liked to. So needless to say, he does not want it celebrated at the office.
His wife had their kids make posters that we could hang up at the office. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out. And as much as he hated the attention, I think deep down he appreciated us recognizing the day he came into this world.

Time Out

I love conference weekend! It was awesome! It always makes me feel like I could do so much better, but at the same time gives me so much hope. I love it. Joseph B. Wirthlin is my favorite. I love how old guys are just funny, no matter what they say. That reminded me of when I got to go to Time Out for Women in Logan with my mom and sister. I love being enriched. It was the greatest time. And it was nice to be able to hang out with girls for a couple days.
