Hello out there

Wow, have I been a major blog slacker or what! Sorry about that.  Really there is nothing new or exciting going on in our lives right now.  Oh wait, I take that back....

Luke officially has a job after 5 months and we are super excited!  He is working at Little Caesars.  So far he's really enjoyed it.  They're pretty flexible with his school schedule, so that will be awesome.
Here's another twin-kitty picture for all you fans out there.
They are pretty much best friends.

A murder on the grill

We had a swingin' weekend in 1959.  We did a murder mystery dinner, that turned out to be lots of fun!  I'd never done one before so I had no idea what to expect.

From left to right, Emma was Tiara Diamond (the late Tom's fiance), Scott was Chubby Cheddar (a rock star), Justin was Dan Dragnet (TV star stepping in as a cop/detective), Candice was Peggy Sue (newspaper gossip columnist), I was Bobby Sox (Tom's kid sister) Luke was Johnny Angel (a mechanic), and in front is John as Ivan Spudnick (Russian rocket scientist) and Tina was Barby Q (a divorcee with a 140 IQ.
We decorated with as much '50's decor as we could find - ignore the cell phone and CD player.
I was feeling very Sandra Dee.

Tiara Diamond, the murderer!!! She looks so cute and innocent!
John played a great Russian.  I'll definitely take him with me if I ever get that desire to visit mother Russia.

Visits

Steve and Kristin came up last weekend to visit Lindsey and I (and our husbands).  We were all able to go to the temple together, which was a fun experience.  Tyler was the only one who wasn't there, because he had to work.  We had a great time hanging out, playing games, and just enjoying each others company.  Thanks Steve and Kristin for coming to visit.
For Young Women's last week, the girls made journals.  I am amazed by their creativity and they came up with some super cute ideas.
